Metallica has officially announced and confirmed a 2009 release of an “all Metallica” Guitar Hero game which will include the full band in the style of Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band. GH Metallica is expected to have 28 songs and will include some Alice in Chains, Machine Head, and Slayer tracks. Additionally, there is some sort of super expert mode with DOUBLE BASS PEDALS on the drums! [metallica.com]
Addendum: Metallica released the official trailer for the game and it looks sick. Can’t wait to play it and review it. The game would be even sicker if they thought to incorporate Cliff and Jason as special characters to unlock.
