Just got back from a great Judas Priest and Whitesnake show at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York. Below is a video of Priest performing “Breaking The Law.” Check out how cool Rob Halford is when a fan jumps on stage for the chorus at 1:48.
Of course the show was far from sold out, as always with hard rock and heavy metal shows at Jones Beach. This venue is still very poorly managed in terms of promotion and ticket prices which is why most artists are set up for failure here. I have seen multiple Motley Crue, Poison, and Kiss’ shows that had disappointing turn outs. Judas Priest kicked major ass this evening, performing British Steel in its entirety. Maybe, just maybe, the beach can actually get its act together and promote hard rock and heavy metal legends properly.
