Guitarist Mark Tremonti (Creed/Alter Bridge) is gearing up to release his solo album All I Was this summer (July). You can listen to streaming audio samples right here, one minute snippets.
“The Things I’ve Seen” is pretty aggressive and heavy. Tremonti sings lead on the album.
Here are 56 seconds of “So You’re Afraid,” on which Tremonti really shreds…bad ass (no, I am not joking).
“You Waste Your Time” features a classic thrash-modeled riff and modern metal vocals.
Judging from these samples, it is safe to say that All I Was is truly worth checking out this summer. Heavy guitars, fast rhythms, and strong vox is a recipe for sickness.
