UK Poll: Iron Maiden > The Beatles > Pink Floyd > Queen > Led Zeppelin

According to a new poll from the UK, Iron Maiden’s The Number of the Beast is the best British album in the last 60 years. That means Maiden is better than The Beatles (Sgt. Pepper), Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon), Queen (A Night at the Opera), and Led Zeppelin (IV).

Over 50,000 people participated in the HMV Diamond Jubilee Survey, however, some of the people surveyed were clinically brain dead; for example, Depeche Mode’s Violator ranked second and Adele’s 21 took the number 9 spot.
