If you grew up in the ’80s, then surely you remember seeing the epic album art featuring the loincloth-wearing members of the mighty Manowar, the #88 ranked band on the Top 100 Greatest Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Bands of All-Time Countdown. With the battle cry “Death to false metal,” legions of Manowarriors by their side (in Germany), and a Guinness World Record for loudest performance, Manowar is ten times more metal than any band, ever. Don’t laugh, these guys are no joke. Or are they? The best Manowar songs are “Sons of Odin,” “Metal Warriors,” “Battle Hymn,” “Fighting the World,” “Metal Daze,” “Warriors of the World United,” and “Blood of my Enemies.”
