#85. Armored Saint / Best Bands of All-Time / Top 100

The 85th greatest band of all-time in hard rock and heavy metal is the underrated and underappreciated Armored Saint. They found some minor commercial success in the early ’90s with the release of “Symbol of Salvation,” which featured the single “Reign of Fire.” Singer John Bush is one of the best vocalists in the history of heavy metal and highly respected by fellow musicians. The best Armored Saint songs are “Aftermath,” “March of the Saint,” “Left Hook From Right Field,” “Long Before I Die,” “Can U Deliver,” “Lesson Well Learned,” “Reign of Fire,” and “Mad House.”

Fun Fact: Metallica asked John Bush to sing for them in the early ’80s, but Bush declined. He did however, front Anthrax 1992-2005 and 2009-2010.
