Metallica unleashed a new song at the Dec. 9 30th anniversary show in San Francisco.  This one is titled “Hell and Back,” a bit groovier than “Rebel of Babylon.”

At the final 30th Anniversary show in San Francisco last night, Metallica performed a brand new song titled “Rebel of Babylon.”  Weigh in below.

Jason Newsted played bass with Metallica for two songs at the Fillmore in San Francisco on Dec. 5.  Newsted played “Harvester of Sorrow” and “Damage Inc.” (see video).  Sick.
