Hei’An is a post-progressive metal band blending progressive metal beats and rhythms, post-metal ambience, black metal tremolos and metalcore riffs to create their own unique sonic direction. The name Hei’An is a pseudonym for their frontman, bandleader and songwriter Matic Blagonič, while also representing the band as a whole, which is formed by Matevž Počič (guitar), Peter Smrdel (bass) and Gaj Bostič (drums). As of April 2023, they have nearly 15,000 Spotify listeners.
