Melodic metal quintet UNDRASK are preparing to take their sound to the next dimension through their sophomore album God Emperor. The upcoming album delves deeper into the story of the creation of the Longhammer – the track “Longhammer” appears on the previous LP Battle Through Time.

With Melodies and riffs abound, and vocals more brutal than ever, each track carries its own distinctive character and vibe. “Eye of the Archdemon” delivers a dramatic opening with intricate and contrapuntal textures emerging from both metal and orchestral instruments. Exploding into a ferocious heaviness, guttural vocals introduce a commanding presence balancing the lightning fast leads with harsh textures. “The Thing in the Pit” unveils a haunting offering with thundering percussion creating a dramatic setting for the track accompanied with an eerie choir. Concluding with “God Emperor”, UNDRASK unleash their theatrical side taking their time to build-up anticipation in the opening section. Driving rhythms and a fast momentum inject a burst of energy with the instrumentation producing a huge wall of sound. Reaching almost ten minutes in length, UNDRASK keep the arrangement dynamically interesting by ensuring the light and the dark ebbs and flows.
